Curious about the state of real estate at the Jersey Shore as we head into the summer sizzle of 2024? Let’s take a peek at the market performance in Monmouth and Ocean Counties for the month of May.

Both counties are seeing home values continue their steady climb, but the rocket-like rise in sales prices is showing signs of slowing, with listing prices taking the hint. Yes, we’re still seeing a flurry of offers and bidding frenzies, but we’re also spotting homes that are taking more time to sell and price adjustments as a result.

These could be tell-tale signs of the market’s usual cycle, shifting gears towards a buyer’s market. In addition, the current 7% mortgage rates are predicted to drop in the coming months, which could kickstart more buyer interest and give homeowners that extra nudge to sell.

Curious about buying or selling a home? I get you. Here’s how I can lend a hand:

  • I can help you figure out the equity in your current home and how to make it work for you

  • I’ll explain how mortgage rates can make a difference to your buying power and property prices

  • You can get an expert opinion on what your home is worth right now

  • And we can chat about whether now’s the right time for you to sell or buy

So, let’s take this journey together! Send me a message or call me at 732-687-9980 to schedule a consultation.

I look forward to assisting you in any way I can! ~Susan

Susan is an incredibly caring realtor who helped my fiancee and I end up in an incredible home where we can build a life together. We were first time home buyers and Susan was very patient in showing us different homes, explaining advantages and disadvantages of various types of homes and  neighborhoods, and guiding us through this process. More importantly than any knowledge that she had, Susan cared about making sure that we were happy with the decision that we would be making. She checked in with us regularly but was not pushy in any way. Susan gave us time to think through our decisions and imparted wisdom in us regarding this process. She was an incredible help to us and we cannot be more grateful for the time, effort, and compassion that she put into our process.
